What a thing it must have been to be present the night God sent FINGERS OF A MAN'S HAND to write Belshazzar's doom and the fall of Babylon on the wall!
God had prophesied 100 years before king Cyrus was born that he would be the next ruler.
And God had told king Nebuchadnezzar in his dream in chapter 2 that the next kingdom would be the SILVER kingdom - the Medes and Persians!
The historical fulfillment of Cyrus' rise to power and seige of Babylon is incredible to comprehend.
