Our Story

Bible Baptist Church was planted in Tuscarawas County, Ohio in September of 2013 (with 23 adults and 18 children and youth) as an independent Baptist church by the First Baptist Church of Jackson with a mission to glorify God, make disciples and reach the whole world for Jesus Christ!

God was faithful to lead  us to some vacant space within the Monroe Mall on the border of Dover and New Philadelphia near the Dover YMCA.  

In 2015,  we  expanded our Sanctuary and remodeled our nursery and toddler space to meet our growing membership and regular attenders.   This  dramatically improved our ability to reach more people and created an improved environment for God to work.

There was no vacancy at that time wtihin the mall, so we acquired additional space across the street for the youth ministry and for Bible Institute meetings.

In the fall of 2018, God led us to acquire an additional 3,500 square feet of space within the mall to expand our children classrooms, youth ministry area, and provided much needed space for fellowship and gatherings.

What a blessing it was to be able to accomplish more for God's glory with the extra space!

We had been praying for the possibility of God providing us with land and our own building one day and...

WOW!  God gave us an an amazing 10-year church anniversary gift through an online auction on Tuesday, January 9, 2024!

Our property is truly one of the most beautiful settings in Tuscarawas County!
