At the beginning of Paul's Second Missionary Journey, he returned to Derbe and Lystra and found a certain disciple which was well reported of by the brethren there.
Paul saw something in this young man that was different - a faithful disciple of Jesus Christ!
This Timothy would become a model disciple for all born-again Christians including us.
