Marriage was created by God to be a living illustration of the Gospel.
Most people approach this passage expecting a lesson about husbands and wives.
Paul certainly addresses marriage.
But notice where he ends:
“I speak concerning Christ and the church.”
Marriage is not the ultimate subject.
Jesus Christ is.
