If someone repeated every word you asked them to say… would that prove they were saved?
Obviously, the answer is no.
Then what exactly are we looking for them to do or say?
The goal of evangelism is not getting someone to repeat words or simply prayer a prayer. It is helping sinners to understand why they need a Saviour and leading them to genuinely repent
toward God and trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
