9. Mission Desertion

What happened to God's church? After 400 years of the greatest missionary work in the history of God's church, we arrive at Laodicea where the believers are so comfortable that they forget why they are on planet earth. "Life is good in Laodicea," they say. In reality, God is sick over their lack of zeal for His glory and passion to please Him. Lukewarm Christianity is rampant in our world. How is that even possible?? Jesus Christ is getting ready to return, and His church is nowhere to be found. The MISSION has been aborted (or forsaken) without the Captain's approval. Christians have blended so well into the world that you may not even know they are Christians. Welcome to Laodicea! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
