Burn the Christians! The Roman Colosseum roared with those alarming words! The Ten Roman Persecutions were brutal towards the followers of Jesus Christ. Looking back from 2021, it seems like only now can we begin to comprehend the kind of hatred that was poured out on those born-again believers. Well, welcome to America! It seems as though our world would LOVE to get rid of Christians. We represent the "conscience" of society (at least we are supposed to.) Our world is ready to get rid of Christians at any cost. History repeats itself. We will learn much from the suffering of the early church in the Smyrna Church Period.
