There was no justice for the Just One.
The Romans prided themselves on a fair judicial system.
However, that is not what Jesus was given.
From Judas to Annas to Caiaphas to Pilate... that was the evil process by which the Jewish leaders sought to destroy Jesus.
The phrase "kangaroo court" is an informal term for a court that ignores recognized standards of law or justice. It is a mock court, especially one hastily improvised or irregularly conducted.
That is exactly what happened to Jesus!
To say that Jesus Christ did not get a fair trial is an understatement.
We will learn what befell Him as we follow His interactions with Pilate.
